Following the experience, a delicious themed dinner feast is served in the
Homestead’s gorgeous 1800’s historic Grand Barn. Local cooks, using
recipes that have been passed down for generations, will prepare a
hearty feast that is sure to delight and satisfy each hungry guest.
Groups choose one of the following feasts to compliment their experience:
Featuring all the traditional dishes served at every Amish wedding,
including turkey “roasht”, mashed potatoes, creamed celery…just
to name a few of the mouthwatering foods. As our Amish friends
would say, “Eat yourself full” and learn about the unique
wedding traditions shared by the Amish community.
Specialty meats have been a part of Stoltzfus Homestead
for over 50 years and include signature sausage, bacon,
scrapple as well as traditional chicken, pork and beef.

Across covered bridges, past fields of wheat, corn, tobacco, one room school houses, “dawdy” houses, growing gardens and children playing – there is nothing quite like a Farmland Tour in Lancaster County. Farmhouse Tours are one to two hours, but can be tailor fitted to your group’s itinerary. Our friendly step-on guides live in the area, celebrate their friendships with Amish friends and neighbors and love sharing their knowledge with others. Farmland Tours take place before or after the Homestead Experience and Dinner Feast.

Join the holiday spirit as you explore homemade, handcrafted specialty items and curated collections from local vendors offering jewelry, honey, home décor, vintage clothing, furniture, wood pieces, sourdough bread, cookies and more—all displayed in our restored Tobacco Barn.
